Darvell Smith, a 36-year-old resident of Hammond, Indiana, was tragically shot to death on November 3, 2019. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of White Oak Avenue, where Smith was found in his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and an autopsy confirmed that he died from these gunshot wounds, ruling his death a homicide.
