Elijah Robinson, an 18-year-old from Griffith, Indiana, tragically lost his life on October 16, 2020. He was found fatally shot alongside his friend, 17-year-old Maxwell Kroll, at a home in the 5900 block of West 51st Street in Griffith. The Lake County Coroner’s Office confirmed their identities, and the incident was reported as a double homicide. The discovery was made around noon when the girlfriend of one of the victims found both men unresponsive and called the authorities.
