In the early morning hours of Halloween 2020, a heated argument shattered the peace at an Indianapolis apartment complex, leaving a 44-year-old woman dead. Deanna Sibley, a Black female, was found by Indianapolis Police at the Pangea Prairies Apartments around 3:47 a.m. on October 31, 2020, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite medical efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy would later reveal she had been shot 15 times.
