In the early hours of a Saturday in July 2008, the life of 24-year-old Chanelle D. Walker was tragically cut short in a violent home invasion in Indianapolis. Two intruders forced their way into the rear of her residence on Morningstar Drive, ransacking the bedroom area and demanding money. In the midst of this terrifying ordeal, Chanelle was shot three times as the perpetrators fled the scene. A cousin and Chanelle's youngest child were reportedly hiding under a bed during the incident.
