In the small town of Holton, Indiana, the life of 36-year-old Kristina Mahalia Asche Jones was tragically cut short on January 10, 2021. A compassionate healthcare worker and devoted mother, she was found unresponsive in the bathroom of a residence on County Road 700 West. Authorities were called to the scene just after midnight, where they discovered that Jones had died from multiple gunshot wounds to the head.
