In the early morning hours of May 16, 2018, the life of 43-year-old Sheretha Stevens was tragically cut short in her Merrillville, Indiana, home. Police were dispatched to her residence on McKinley Street after a report of a person with a gunshot wound. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene.
