Sheretha Stevens, aged 43, tragically died on May 16, 2018, in Merrillville, Indiana. The incident occurred in the early morning hours when police were called to a residence on McKinley Street following a report of a person with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds: Sheretha Stevens and a 24-year-old man named Ivory Johnson Jr. The Lake County Coroner's office later identified both victims and confirmed their deaths at the scene.
