Johana Nunez, a 35-year-old woman, was tragically killed on August 15, 2013, in Golden Gate, FL. The incident occurred inside her home at 3032 50th St. S.W., where she and her 18-year-old son, Joseph Suazo, were found dead. Both victims had been shot multiple times with a revolver. The suspect, Jose Suazo, 48, who was Johana's husband and Joseph's father, was apprehended shortly after the incident during a traffic stop on Interstate 75 in Lee County.
