On October 28, 1990, the body of a 30-year-old male, Jose San Juan Garcia, was discovered on the south side of Interstate 70 at mile marker 249 in Jefferson County, Colorado. An investigation revealed that he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide.
