Who murdered Dellmer Betts in 1986?
On April 27, 1986, hikers discovered the body of 29-year-old Dellmer Betts in a drainage ditch near Highway 6, about 4.5 miles west of Highway 58 in Jefferson County, Colorado. Betts had recently been released from prison after serving time for a narcotics violation and was last seen on April 25 at a residence in Denver. At the time of his death, he was wearing blue jeans, bright orange socks, and a blue T-shirt, but his brown briefcase was missing.
