On a spring Sunday in Hammond, Indiana, the life of 47-year-old Rosemary Comanse, a Hispanic female, was tragically cut short. On May 15, 2011, police were called to a residence in the 1100 block of West 177th Place where they discovered Rosemary's body in an upstairs bedroom. An autopsy would later reveal that she had died from a single gunshot wound to the back of her head, fired at close range.
