In the early morning hours of February 27, 2021, a call regarding a possible car accident brought Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers to the Southport Crossing residential complex. At the intersection of Weber Drive and Orinoco Avenue, they discovered 18-year-old John Neri Guzman inside a vehicle.
