In the late hours of a Saturday night in Indianapolis, a burst of violence shattered the peace and ended the life of Lloyd Moore Jr.. On September 26, 2020, the 55-year-old man was discovered on a sidewalk along 29th Street, just west of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street, suffering from gunshot wounds. The call to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department came in just after 10:45 p.m., reporting the grim finding.
Emergency services rushed Moore to Eskenazi Hospital in a desperate
attempt to save his life. Tragically, his injuries proved too severe, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
