Amarjeet Johal, a 66-year-old grandmother and member of the Sikh community in Indianapolis, tragically lost her life on April 15, 2021, during a mass shooting at the FedEx Ground Plainfields Operation Center. This horrific event resulted in the deaths of eight individuals, including Johal, and left several others injured. The shooter, identified as Brandon Scott Hole, opened fire at the facility late at night, causing widespread panic and devastation.
