In the early evening hours of July 2, 2021, on the northeast side of Indianapolis, the life of 34-year-old Kyle Scott-Neville, a Black male, was tragically cut short. First responders were called to the 3800 block of East 30th Street, near North Sherman Drive, around 7:00 p.m. following a report of a person shot. Upon their arrival, they discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a building. Inside the car, they found Scott-Neville suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds.
