In the summer of 2021, a residential street in Gary, Indiana, became the scene of a fatal confrontation that ended the life of 42-year-old Donte Denson. On the afternoon of July 7th, Denson, a Black/African American male, was in the 300 block of 39th Street when a dispute escalated into a chaotic exchange of gunfire.
