Aaron Hawkins, a 31-year-old resident of Chicago Heights, Illinois, was tragically shot and killed on March 2, 2021, in Gary, Indiana. The incident occurred in the 2100 block of Vermont Street, where Hawkins was found with fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at 5:20 p.m. by the Lake County coroner's office, and an autopsy confirmed that his death was a homicide.
