In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Valley, Alabama, the life of Ericsson Sandoval, a 27-year-old Hispanic man, was brought to a violent and tragic end. On May 31, 2023, at approximately 9:37 p.m., officers from the Valley Police Department were dispatched to an apartment complex on Sydney Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Sandoval's body; he had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
