Johnnie Dixon III, a 22-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on April 10, 2015. He was found dead outside an apartment in the St. John Homes complex around 1:20 a.m. According to police reports, a resident of the 2200 block of Carolina Street heard 18 to 20 gunshots and saw Dixon lying on the ground with his arms in the air before they dropped to his side. The police were called immediately, and upon arrival, they found Dixon's lifeless body.
