Robert C. Aynes, a 55-year-old auto mechanic, was shot and killed on November 2, 2017, on the northeast side of Indianapolis while working on his van outside his apartment on Devington Road. The incident took place between 8:00 and 10:00 PM, and his wife later discovered his body at the scene. Despite extensive investigations, no suspects have been identified, and there have been no major leads in solving the case.
