In the autumn of 2017, the life of a young man, Kent N. Edwards, was tragically cut short in Indianapolis, Indiana. On the evening of Friday, November 10, 2017, the 25-year-old Black male was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the 8100 block of East 37th Place, a detail that marks the location of a life ended prematurely.
