Jeremy Dumas, a 24-year-old resident of Lafayette, Indiana, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2021. According to the Tippecanoe County Coroner, Carrie Costello, Dumas died from internal damage caused by a bullet that passed through his midsection. The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. as Dumas was riding his bicycle on Indiana 25, also known as Teal Road West, just east of Old Romney Road.
