In the early morning hours of April 24, 2022, a large block party at the Romney Meadows apartment complex in Lafayette, Indiana, turned tragic. Amidst the festivities, a gunfight erupted inside an apartment on Phipps Court, leading to the death of 34-year-old Tommy Marshall. The violence, which broke out around 4:30 a.m., also claimed the life of another man, Edward Roberson, and left four other men wounded.
