James A. Thornton, aged 52, was found dead on December 5, 2017, in Indianapolis, Indiana. His death was ruled a homicide caused by blunt force trauma, which took place at his residence in the 300 block of North Mickley Avenue on the city's west side. Authorities believe that Thornton's death may have been connected to a robbery. Despite efforts by law enforcement, the case remains unsolved.
