James A. Thornton, a 52-year-old Black male from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on December 5, 2017. He was discovered in the 300 block of North Mickley Avenue, located on the west side of the city. Authorities determined that the cause of death was blunt force trauma, marking the incident as a homicide.
