In the winter of 2018, a tragic event unfolded in Indianapolis that cut short the life of 43-year-old Joshua Freeman. On the evening of November 30th, police were called to the 3800 block of Amaranth Court on the city's northwest side after reports of gunfire echoed through the neighborhood. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered a grim situation.
