On November 17, 2021, a violent incident unfolded in the 3500 block of Washington Street in Gary, Indiana. Law enforcement officials were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunfire, where they discovered a male victim who had sustained gunshot wounds. The investigation determined that the man had been outside working on his vehicle around 10:15 a.m. when a dark-colored vehicle approached.
