In the early morning hours of March 1, 2022, a grim discovery was made on the east side of Indianapolis. The body of 21-year-old Dai-Ghia Hogan, an African-American female, was found lying in the gravel of a cross-over on westbound Interstate 70, near the German Church Road overpass. Indiana State Police were called to the scene at approximately 7:23 a.m. and upon arrival, medical personnel pronounced her dead.
