In the early evening of May 10, 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Gary, Indiana neighborhood, leaving a young man's life cut tragically short. Kurtis Tolliver, a 27-year-old male, was standing outside a residence in the 4400 block of Washington Street at approximately 6:37 PM when the fatal incident unfolded.
