On a Wednesday evening in Michigan City, Indiana, tragedy struck, leaving a family and community mourning the loss of 53-year-old Jimmy Darnell Brown. On July 13, 2022, at approximately 8:02 p.m., police responded to a distressing 911 call reporting a person with multiple gunshot wounds in the 1600 block of East Michigan Boulevard.
