At the time of his disappearance, Nunez was described as a Hispanic male standing 5'9" and weighing approximately 225 pounds. He had black hair and brown eyes. Nunez had several distinguishing marks, including a chest scar from a bypass surgery, a long scar on his left leg from a procedure to restore an artery, and an indentation on his left elbow from a poorly healed broken arm. He also had discoloration above his left eye. When last seen, he was wearing a black hat, a beige and green jacket, a black turtleneck shirt, black slacks, and a wedding band.
