Dwight Meier, a 50-year-old man from Livermore, California, was last seen on March 2, 2017. On that day, Meier mailed a letter to his family, indicating that they would never see him again. The letter, which his family received on March 5, directed them to his vehicle, which was later found in the parking lot of a Walmart in Livermore. Concerned for his safety, his family contacted the police, and a missing person report was filed.
Authorities, including the Livermore Police Department and the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, searched the area surrounding the Walmart and Meier’s residence, but no trace of him was found. Despite these efforts, very little information has emerged regarding Meier’s disappearance, and the case remains unsolved. Livermore police continue to request assistance from the public in hopes of gathering any new leads that might help locate him.
