In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Michigan City, Indiana, the life of 25-year-old Kylie McKee was tragically cut short. On July 17, 2022, at approximately 1:50 a.m., police responded to calls of shots fired near the intersection of Springland Avenue and Roeske Avenue. Arriving at the scene, they discovered a vehicle that had gone off the road. Inside, in the driver's seat, they found an unresponsive woman who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound.
