In the early morning hours of August 22, 2022, the life of 16-year-old Katrina Strowder, a Black female, was tragically cut short in Indianapolis, Indiana. Around 1:15 a.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 3800 block of Cooper Square Court. There, in the parking lot, they found Katrina unresponsive, suffering from gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition but succumbed to her injuries shortly after ...
