In the early hours of September 3, 2022, the life of 45-year-old Harvey L. Lewis, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Indianapolis, Indiana. Around 12:30 a.m., on the city's north side, police responded to a call in the 700 block of West 26th Street where they discovered Lewis unresponsive with gunshot wounds. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
