Chase Gillis, a 16-year-old Caucasian male from Lizella, Georgia, tragically lost his life on July 12, 2017. The incident occurred during what was initially described as a gun swap at a residence in Lizella. According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Chase Gillis went to the home for the transaction, but events took a fatal turn when he allegedly pointed his own gun at then 19-year-old Logan Nettles, also known as "Carrot Top."
