Robert Merle Harrod, aged 81, was last seen on July 27, 2009, at his residence in Placentia, California. At the time of his disappearance, Harrod's son-in-law was helping him with home repairs in preparation for the arrival of Harrod's new wife, Fontelle Heeter, who was relocating from Missouri to move in with him.
