Brian Leonard, a 29-year-old resident of Chicago, was tragically killed in a mass shooting on September 25, 2022, in Hammond, Indiana. The incident occurred around 1:40 a.m. at Serenity Lounge, located in the 6200 block of Kennedy Avenue. Hammond police responded to reports of shots fired and found four individuals shot, including Leonard. He was pronounced dead at 2:45 a.m. at the hospital, and his death was ruled a homicide by the Lake County Coroner's Office.
