On a summer evening in Hammond, Indiana, the life of a 16-year-old male, Michael J. Reyna, was tragically cut short. On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at approximately 7:25 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of 177th Street. Upon arrival, they found that Michael had been shot.
