Jorge Emmanuel Roman, an 18-year-old resident of East Chicago, Indiana, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2019. The incident occurred in Hammond, Indiana, near the intersection of 165th Street and Blaine Avenue. At approximately 9:27 p.m., authorities responded to reports of a shooting and found Roman suffering from a gunshot wound.
