In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Indianapolis, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of the 2600 block of Hillside Drive. When the echoes faded, 18-year-old Michael Rollins Jr. was found shot to death on October 5, 2022. His father, 39-year-old Michael Rollins Sr., was also critically wounded in the same shooting and succumbed to his injuries the following day.
