In the city of Indianapolis, on a Thursday in the fall of 2022, the life of 40-year-old Eria Luberta Bankhead was tragically cut short. On November 10th, the mother of six found herself in a violent confrontation that would end in her death, a devastating event that unfolded in front of some of her children. According to her son, Eria's final moments were an act of selfless love as she attempted to shield her children from the gunfire that ultimately claimed her life.
