DeJanelle Gaines, a 24-year-old woman from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost her life on December 19, 2022, in a harrowing incident that has been classified as a homicide-suicide. The events unfolded on the west side of Indianapolis, where police responded to a shooting at an apartment on Cloverleaf Terrace.
