On July 12, 1992, at approximately 12:30 am, 15-year-old Reginald "Reggie" Basnight, Jr. was tragically gunned down in the 1200 block of Glyndon Drive in Virginia Beach, VA. Reggie was standing outside when an argument erupted between him and an individual in a small white car. The dispute, reportedly over a girl, escalated quickly, leading to gunfire. Reggie was found lying in the doorway of a home, bleeding from a chest wound. Despite rescue efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
