On a Thursday afternoon in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the life of 18-year-old DaMyrian Jacob Durel was tragically cut short. Just before 3 p.m. on June 9, 2022, police officers responded to a report of a gunshot wound in the 1900 block of King Charles Court, near Laskin Road.
