In the early morning hours of January 17, 2005, the life of 28-year-old Randolph Scott Jr., a Black male from Chesterfield County, Virginia, was tragically cut short in Richmond. Police responded to reports of random gunfire and a vehicle stopped in the middle of the road at the intersection of Pompeii Springs Road and Lauradale Lane around 3:50 AM. Upon their arrival, they discovered Scott in the driver's seat of his 1995 Cadillac, suffering from a severe gunshot wound to the head.
