Mark T. VanHorn, a 24-year-old sonar technician serving in the United States Navy, tragically lost his life on January 15, 2007, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. VanHorn, originally from Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania, was stationed aboard the USS Winston S. Churchill in Norfolk, Virginia.
