Reema Joseph Samaha, an 18-year-old freshman at Virginia Tech, tragically lost her life on April 16, 2007, during the Virginia Tech mass shooting. Reema, who was passionate about dance and described as fun and energetic, was one of the 32 victims killed by Seung-Hui Cho, a senior at Virginia Tech. The shooting, which remains one of the deadliest school shootings in U.S. history, took place in two separate attacks on the campus in Blacksburg, Virginia.
