In the early summer of 2007, the life of Samuel McKinsey Coleman Sr., a 26-year-old man from Richmond, Virginia, was tragically cut short. Known affectionately as 'Lil Man' to his friends and family, Coleman was a father, a son, and a cherished member of his community. On June 6, 2007, he became a victim of homicide, his death leaving a void in the lives of those who knew him.
