In the city of Richmond, Virginia, the evening of December 6, 2007, brought a tragedy that would leave a family heartbroken and a community with unanswered questions. On that day, Jerry Deion Bloomfield, a 25-year-old male, was inside a residence in the 2300 block of Ambrose Street when the sound of gunfire shattered the peace.
