In the late summer of 2015, the life of 34-year-old Matthias J. Washington was tragically cut short on a street in Richmond, Virginia. On the evening of August 18th, Washington was in the 2800 block of Dunn Avenue, near Hotchkiss Field, when he was fatally shot.
