Darius Taylor, a 23-year-old resident of Chesapeake, Virginia, was tragically shot to death on June 28, 2009. The incident occurred at an apartment complex on Gilmerton Road, where Taylor lived. On that fateful night, Taylor and another man were shot around 10:22 p.m. by two unidentified black males who subsequently fled the scene on foot. The shooting left the community in shock and prompted an immediate investigation by local law enforcement.
